Your story, our inspiration

We are a proudly independent media publisher dedicated to sharing stories and amplifying voices of female change makers and women in business in regional and rural Australia.

OAK is an award winning community ecosystem of print, digital, audio and events. We have demonstrated outstanding quality, innovation and impact through our print magazine, podcasts and audio version of OAK Magazine.

Founder Kimberley Furness has cultivated a community of rural and regional women in business. In 2022, she was nationally recognised with an AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award.

OAK is where you will find in-depth chats and courageous conversations with women in business from regional and rural Australia.

With our compelling storytelling approach and dedicated team of writers, we have created a unique platform that celebrates the resilience, talent, and accomplishments of women in these communities.

Read our print magazine, listen to our stories on A Friend of Mine podcast or invite our mobile podcast studio to your next event.

Kind words from Samantha Wills

I got my issue of OAK Magazine, and I have read every interview. If you have a small business, I cannot recommend this mag enough. You have probably heard my story a zillion times but it’s THE OTHER stories in there that I am seriously obsessed with. It’s an inspiration-fest.
Grab a copy, have a read.
